Terms of Use
Version 2026-10-28-rh. DIME is an invite-only alpha that uses real money. Please read this before trading.
1. What DIME is
DIME is an experimental project built by RNDM, running as an invite-only alpha on Robinhood Chain. It lets you open small, leveraged long or short positions on the price of bitcoin (BTC) and Nvidia (NVDA), settled in USDG by smart contracts.
It is not a regulated exchange, broker or financial institution, and its contracts have not been externally audited. Features, limits and availability can change or stop at any time without notice.
DIME is not provided, operated or endorsed by Robinhood, Hyperliquid, trade.xyz or Arcus.
2. This is real money
Deposits, positions and payouts use real USDG on Robinhood Chain. Transactions are final once confirmed on-chain and cannot be reversed by us.
Leverage of up to 1000× means a very small price move can liquidate your position and you can lose your entire margin within seconds. Only use money you can afford to lose completely.
The house can back only a limited number of positions at once. When it is full, your order waits in a queue and may expire without opening; nothing is locked while it waits.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these terms.
You may not use DIME if you are a resident of, located in, or acting for anyone in: the United States; the United Kingdom; Canada; Cuba; Iran; Myanmar; North Korea; Syria; the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine; any country or region subject to comprehensive UN, US, UK or EU sanctions. You may not use VPNs or other tools to get around this restriction.
You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including any tax obligations.
4. How prices and settlement work
Trades open and settle against reference prices produced by DIME's own pricing service and signed by DIME's operator key. The smart contract checks that signature, not whether the price is fair, so you rely on DIME to publish correct prices.
BTC is priced from Hyperliquid's BTC perpetual, checked against other major exchanges.
NVDA is priced from Hyperliquid's xyz:NVDA perpetual, operated by trade.xyz, which trades around the clock. It is not the Nasdaq price. On weekends and US market holidays its price is set by traders on Hyperliquid while the stock market is closed, and it can jump when the market reopens (Sunday 8:05 PM ET).
New NVDA positions are paused around each weekend and holiday reopen and when its market is thin or moving fast. Positions that are already open can still be liquidated during those times.
Pricing errors, exchange outages, network congestion or delays can affect entries, exits and liquidations.
5. No ownership of shares
An NVDA position on DIME is exposure to a price only. It gives you no ownership of Nvidia shares, no voting rights and no dividends.
6. Counterparties and the house
Your position may be taken by the house reserve or matched against another trader. A matched position can be closed early when your counterparty closes or is liquidated.
The house reserve is small and finite. Reserve-protection rules can close a winning position early, at the verified price, when the house cannot hold more of it.
7. Payouts, fees and DIME rewards
There is no fee to open, close or hold a position. On a winning trade, a move of m basis points in your favour pays m × m / (m + 3) basis points, so DIME keeps at most 3 basis points of any win. A liquidated position loses its whole margin.
Network fees (gas in ETH on Robinhood Chain) can apply to deposits and withdrawals, though some actions are gasless.
DIME is a non-transferable reward token issued on eligible house-trade losses. It is not a refund, has no guaranteed value, and staked DIME may earn nothing. Any USDG distribution depends on future house earnings.
8. Taking wins as stock tokens (optional)
If you turn it on, the app converts all or part of your winnings into Robinhood Stock Tokens (for example NVDA tokens) through the Arcus spot router, a third-party service. You can turn it off at any time.
Each conversion is a swap at the market price, with fees and slippage. While the option is on, the app signs these swaps for you without asking each time, and the tokens are delivered to your own wallet.
Stock Tokens are tokenised securities with their own risks, issuer terms and eligibility rules. Their value moves with the stock and can fall. DIME does not hold, manage or redeem them for you.
9. Your wallet and your responsibility
You control your wallet and are responsible for keeping it secure. We cannot recover lost keys or reverse transactions.
If you pair a browser or app, its session key can open and close positions and withdraw your free balance, but only to your own wallet. You can revoke it at any time.
Withdrawals of your free balance are always available from the contract, subject to the network working normally.
10. No advice, no warranties
Nothing on DIME is financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
DIME is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Smart contracts, the pricing service, the indexer and the website may contain bugs or fail.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, RNDM and the DIME contributors are not liable for any loss of funds, profits or data arising from your use of DIME, including losses caused by bugs, price errors, outages, liquidations, conversions, or third-party services such as Robinhood Chain, Hyperliquid, trade.xyz, Arcus and Privy.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, the version changes and you will be asked to accept the new version before trading again.
